Ed’s Coed!
Ed’s Coed – silent film with live music

180 PLC University of Oregon
FREE
“Ed’s Coed” is the first feature-length film ever made by students and Beta Collide will be performing a newly assembled score for it that includes songs and stylings of the time and original compositions by Brian McWhorter.
In 1929, students of the University of Oregon in conjunction with their professors, shot this wonderful film about college life at the UO. The film shows a remarkable view of the UO campus at the time and includes cameo performances by notable personalities on campus of the time, including Dean John Straub and Bill Hayward (on the track!).BETA COLLIDE

This will be a reunion of sorts! This performance is made by possible by Cinema Studies and the School of Music and Dance.
